RADHA  PANDEY

Roopaantar was made as my thesis work at my undergraduate institution in Bangalore, India. Being a graphic design major, I decided to keep away from the norm of designing a printed book and chose instead to create a stop-motion animation using wire frames embedded in paper. I made these props during my internship at Auroville Papers, Pondicherry between 2006 and 2007. The film was photographed on a large light table and then strung together using After Effects to create a 5-minute stop motion animation based on a Japanese Folktale. The full film can be viewed here.
